So, I'm stuck with a stock DFGT, and I'm looking for pedals with a clutch, but supposedly, clutches don't work with the DFGT(not sure how true that is, seen it a few threads), so I'm not sure what my options are, Fanatec is a little scary to me since it's not GT5 supported, and well, I also can't find anything but the G27 for Retail, I don't know where I can find a T500RS, and I don't like buying online but if it comes down tho that that's ok, so I suppose I'm now looking for wheels, because I'm not seeing any pedals being sold separately but clubsports, and I want something that's better quality than the DFGT and GT5 supported

Fry's Electronics carry the T500RS. Also, I highly recommend Amazon when buying stuff online. They have a great return policy just in case. I have a prime account and it's so worth it. Btw, you will love the T500rs. I've been using for a week now and I can't get enough of it (upgraded from a g27).

What about compatibility for iRacing, which I have been hoping to get for awhile, I'm not sure If I'm ready to spend $599, or $493 or whatever it was yet

Edit: sears supposedly has it for $494

bladezzz
Fanatec is not officially supported but works lika a charm 👍
Is there any tricks or issues with it on ps3 vs an xbox

I'd pick a CSR bundle for 300 +shipping if you're coming from a DFGT. I'm coming from a Driving Force Pro (DFGT's older brother) and it's definitely an upgrade...and then some! It's belt driven, so it's much more quiet than the DFP/GT, the wheel is bigger (better control), and the plain-jane CSR pedals are pretty good for being potentimeter-based. The CSR/CSR Elite works with PC, PS3 (and PS2?), and XBOX360. The T500RS only works on PC and PS3.

I plan on purchasing a set of the Club Sport Pedals soon, but I'm waiting for their tuning kit to be back in stock. I also thought about getting the CSR Elite, but I think I'll just wait for the next best thing.

Also, if you don't already have a cockpit setup, I picked up an rSeat EVO V3 and love it. I think I've had more seat time in the EVO's bucket seat than my couch...

Has no issues as it's compatible with all platforms :)

Roush_fan_99 never seen you at GTP-iRacing forum before. I like the Legends car too good to see more & more iRacers popping up 👍

Yeah if you have an xbox then I'd look at the Fanatec wheels. The Clubsports are amazing. I've used the DFP before and I feel for you with those pedals.

My advice to you: Get CSP first. I did this for my T500RS (T500rs + CSPs). That is only $200. So now you are set for iRacing. Most use Logitech with good pedals like CSP. Wait- or you can ge tthe new csr-e pedals for just $150

Next, get a Fanatec wheel later when the budget allows.

I was in the original iracing.com tread for a little bit because I was looking at it but I still don't have it, a few legends I race with have it to and say it's a must have for the winter off-season

Anyway, the problem I have is that I don't know where I can get just CSR-E pedals w/o the wheel and if they are compatible with the DFGT or T500Rs or just a plain CSR, being I haven't made up my mind

Any links would be very helpful too, thanks

It said there is an adapter for the g25 and g27 pedals to the CSRE, an that be used backwards for the DFGT? And I couldn't find the adapter on their page

Don't forget Costco is selling the T500 with the Th8RS shifter bundled for $550 + $27 if you aren't a member. Great deal that I jumped on.

The G25/G27 adapter is listed under "Racing wheel accessories" after you have selected "Buy product" on fanatec.com.

The fanatec pedals would only be compatible with other wheels( DFGT/T500rs) on PC you wont be able to use on gt5.

It really depends on what games your gonna be playing and your budget. I recomend csr-e wheel with either csr-e or csp pedals and the csr shifter set...but that will run you $750-800 not including shipping and tax which varies depending on where you live. If your really only playing on pc and ps3 the t500rs is an awesome wheel and you can probly find some deals online but a lot of the great deals just past :(

I hate to bump the thread but it's better than starting a new one,

I found this deal while on the fanatec site, and it looks great, but is there anything other than the fact the CSR-E is out that it's priced @ $250 (in other words is that a good or ok deal for a CSR?)

http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_usa/product_info.php?products_id=105&session=true

So, I'd have to buy a shifter set and table clamp separate and that's it correct? Or does it already have a way to mount to my cheap $30 fredmeyer table specifically being used for my DFGT currently?

Edit: and for $110 more there is an upgrade to CSRE pedals and a shifter set is thrown in (total is $360)
