Can't send private messages

I'm new to the forum. When I try to send a PM just pops up this:

lucakine, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Can someone explain?

Welcome to GTPlanet, lucakine.

Your first post must be approved by one of the staff at which point you will be able to send PM's. Now that I have done so, you should be good to go once the server updates.

Edit: The server has updated so you should now be able to PM at will.
