Can't use GetRight

When I first came to this site I tried to download the Skunkwerx Video with IE but my connection kept timing out... so the next day I got myself a copy of GetRight so that I could do it without having to restart... however that day the vid's were taken down (Due to leeching!)

Now however the Downloading stuff is unable to be used with anything other than IE's "download manager" as the URL isn't available so I can't use GetRight...

I do now have the Full version of the skunkwerx video but it took me about 6 tries and 3 days to get it (Totalling about 400 MB's instead of 160!!)

Could you make it so in future we can use Downloading software to successfully download stuff easily instead of having to rely on IE's uselessness?!

No, I'm afraid I can't, because of the way our content management system verifies who is a member and who is not. By allowing direct access to the files (and not via a PHP script), it would leave the door wide open for public downloads. Sorry, I also frequently use GetRight and I know how much of a help it can be. :(
 
I downloaded the Divx video with DAP before the link was taken off, but I downloaded the Divx one to save bandwidth for the site(which didn't do a lot) and save my 56k connection.
