Captivating Voices

Who out there has a voice that, when you hear it, no matter what is being said, absolutely commands your attention?

I'm not really talking about singing capability, but just the general sound of the voice. Maybe it's an authoritative voice, maybe it's sexy, maybe it's even vulnerable.

Try to pick people we might be familiar with. I'll start:

Okay, the best voice is Mike Rowe, host of Dirty Jobs.

You have to wait a minute or so for him to go on.

I'd have to say Keith David (He's an actor, I think he was in The Thing. He also voiced The Arbiter in Halo 2 and Julius in Saints Row.) The man has a voice that is unforgettable.
 
I also think that Eric Clapton has a captivating voice. But, that might just be because he's Eric Clapton.

I talked to ex-GTPlanet member Darin on Skype a few times a few years ago and he had a really deep voice which I couldn't help having to listen to.
 
Jack Nicholson also has a really good voice. I think it's developed even more in his later years.
