Car Bhp/Kgfm higher with no changes?

Okay, so I buy the CR-Za '10. In the showroom the given specs are lower than in my garage....

As you can see I've made only one change and that was a paint job. I've not come across this before, am I missing something?

The showroom image says CR-X, while the car in your garage seems to be a CR-Z. Or maybe it's me who's missing something??

Have you done an oil change?

The figures shown at the dealership are not always accurate, quite often the dealership power figures are lower than the car actually has once bought. No idea why they do this but I kind of wish they didn't

I find the stats to be inconsistent when a favorited car is displayed in arcade mode too. It's normal.

My bad! Poor photo editing! The cr-x bit is the scrolling text! Anyway, no oil change as I was trying to do a 'clean' gold for once in a bog-standard motor, no aids and manual trans. Never noticed anything like that before, going to be looking at everything I buy now...!

It happens with nearly every car, and has done since GT1...

GTPEDIA gives the correct garage values
