Car Borrowing: How does it work?

For the new Car Borrowing Feature, which looks to be a great addition to the game, and supplements gifting by letting you test drive a car first, I have a few questions:

Does this add miles to your car?

Can you take it offline to use it, even if someone is borrowing it?

Can multiple friends "borrow" it (does it indicate whether it is checked out)?

ive tried its really good and i think multiple people can rent our cars also doesn't use any miles

Smash the passenger front door window , open the door, lean over and open the drivers door, screwdriver the ignition and away you go !!

Yes it does add miles also adds to the changes and win count and add engine wear , also major damage

I have not tried it, but I wonder if this feature is a precursor to fixing duping by getting rid of the trading feature and replacing it with loan? Just a thought.

Not sure if that's what they hope to accomplish with this. But, it is nice for when someone needs to do one race. They borrow your car, and then you don't have to wait until the next day to send another.
