I've been lapping at Trial Mountain, and know it fluently at this point. I've pretty much completed the game, and have a few million, to play around with. What I've decided to do, is mess with the more everyday cars: the cars we see left and right, in reality. What in your opinion is the best N/A street car to use/convert to for track use? I know its abit much to ask, as they're over 100 cars in the game, but only a few good track cars, and even less N/A non-super/exotic cars which track well. I'm refurring to cars like a N/A tuned 3400S compared with an N/A tuned BMW 328, or even an N/A tuned skyline, evo, STi, etc... all basic street cars~ but what feels the best for you, and gives a potential lap time for its class?..

At Trial Mountain, I think the Evo7, modified to 400hp (give or take 3 or 4hp), is one of the best in the class of mid size coupes/sedens under 400hp. It got a time of 1:28,6 at trail mountain, which is impressive, considering the stock RGT gets about 1:33 (not exact). I put that Evo7 up against an STi and a 328ci, both equally modded. The Evo7 got the fastest lap, with the BMW second fastest. The BMW actually lapped at 1:31,4? and it was tough to pull it any quicker, the handling was too aggressive for the drivetrain of the car (it being the only rwd of the group.) I have a feeling the S4 would outrun the Evo7, but have yet to find out.
Anyway, share what you've done in whatever comparism you are working with.

This is a much better post from the one this morning.

I have to say that the RUF RGT, while not an every day site, is perhaps my most fun car around this track. However, that being said, a lightly tuned RC7 RZ might fair better in similar tune. The RX7 is easier to jump in and drive and will produce a faster lap time. Yet, the RGT is tougher to drive and will eventually give a better time.

Just my thoughts. I've not had the chance to test the two against each other, but they are two of my most enjoyable cars.
