Looking at the GT5 car wishlist, I got a cool idea. Perhaps members of gtplanet could work on an online car encylcopedia. There's no dedicated car wiki on the web as far as I can tell, and Wikipedia's offerings are somewhat limited IMO. And besides wikis, there aren't any really in-depth car encyclopedias online.

So yay or nay? I think it would be a great resource.
 
Wikipedia's offerings are actually not too bad, but if we want to create one of our own, then I'm all for it. The problem is that this site deals mostly with game-cars, if you will, rather than real ones; so a division within the Game Guides will have to occur, when discussing the same car.

Or they could be merged together; real-life car info along with GT/GT2/GT3/GT4 info in one. It would be a massive undertaking, however...our game guides on individual cars is less than perfect at this time.
