i'm amazed you WANTED to do that, but well done, it's nice to see we have some commited people here.

Hope you won't mind me making a couple of changes:

If you can get to Shoreside (different thread) the Dodo is always available (I've got it while still in Portland) and it does fly around fairly often.

The Mr Whoopee does drive around in Shoreside in Cedar Grove at night, but very rarely (go on a niping mission or something at night and one will appear.

The Sentinal is available in Portland - its just not very common.

I can't get rid of the Manana - I would have called it a pest, not uncommon (I'm doing my bit in reducing their species though)

Congratualations on a great list, you've covered everything.

you're 2nd post is full of wrong cars...
BLISTA = previous model Dodge Caravan
CARTEL CRUISER = Ford Explorer Sport-trac
DIABLO STALLION = '66 Mustang
LANDSTALKER = Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander
MAFIA SENTINEL = BMW M3 sedan
MOONBEAM = 1980s Chevy Astro
POLICE & TAXI= They are Fords! Look at the emblems on the grill...I'm not really sure on model...
RUMPO = 1987 Dodge Ram van

And the Kuruma is a 300M, just look at a real 300M and then at the Kuruma, you will see. It's almost an exact replica...

BLISTA = previous model Caravan and current-model Caravan have the same body shape!
CARTEL CRUISER = Hehe. It's the Hummer H2! Have you ever seen a Sport Trac make that noise or drive that well off road!? :D
DIABLO STALLION = I'd like to believe it's a Mustang, but check out the '67 Camaro! Dead ringer!
LANDSTALKER = anybody's guess.
MAFIA SENTINEL = No way! Look at the front overhang! I've never seen an M3 like that. Also, which-gen M3? The last-gen M3 looks just like the 3-series and nothing like the Mafia Sentinel.
MOONBEAM = No, it's an old Voyager.
POLICE & TAXI = Ford logos they may have but they resemble the '96+ Caprice's way way way too much to be Fords.
RUMPO = No - the Ram Van didn't look like that in 1987 - the Caravan Wagon was the one wit no windows.
KURUMA = Yep. No one else will believe me!

The police is a chevord: part chevy part ford:D

plus is all opinion on what cars are based on, personally i think the diablos gang car looks like a olds 70 something 442, but hey thats me.

anywyas nice job.

71 olds 442

Nice list.
I glanced at a couple.

Correction on the Securicar. It's not parked anywhere and wanted levels won't make it emerge (as far as I know), that's the Enforcer.

The Securicar rarely comes out. It seems around the stadium area, most likely if you're driving something big. There are a lot of them around during the mission where you guard a Securicar with Love's package, though.

Check the restaurant parking lot in St Marks. At the top of the hill, across from the L-train station.

Um...check the 'parked' column for the Sentinel.

I meant Sentinels that were driving. ;)

I think the Sentinel looks more like a Lincoln LS... Especially if you look at one while it's driving at night.
lincoln-ls-2002.jpg

Just one man's opinion though. Oh, and I can't make my mind up whether the Kuruma is a 300M or an Intrepid... I think it could pass for either. The rear tail-lights I think more closely resemble an Intrepid than a 300M... but whatever.

Another correction: The Mr. Wong's truck can be seen driving around outside the mission where you have to blow them up, but it's extremely uncommon to see. They mostly surface around late afternoon, usually near the part of Chinatown closest to the Callahan Bridge (though I have seen one tooling around Saint Mark's before). I think driving a large vehicle makes them appear, since I've mostly seen them while "clearing traffic" with a Coach or fire truck, but don't hold me to that.

Also, about the Mr. Whoopee van, I posted a rumor I heard a while ago that it would drive past the Cartel Mansion during afternoon hours and so far I've had two people verify it. I also saw it crossing the bridge leading into that area at least four times when delivering cars to the Shoreside Import/Export Garage, and you can get one during an El Burro mission (provided you don't blow it up like you're supposed to), so it's not a side mission-only vehicle.

As far as the Sentinel goes, it's too small to be a Lincoln LS and the back end is all wrong. And the Kuruma looks a lot like a Dodge Stratus from the side profile to me, but I suppose this is one of those topics we could go round and round for ages on and never solve to everyone's liking. :P

Delray: Hmmm...there are obviously some cars that can be found in great numbers during missions (i.e. Mr Whoopee in the Portland ice cream mission, the Securicar in the Love mission), but does the Mr Wongs come out at any other points?

A lot of people have told me the Whoopee can be seen near the Cartel mansion, but I've only seen two there in my long, long time of playing the game - it's too rare to have people go to the mansion and wait. :D

if you go at night they appear more often. remember you dont often need to drive by there. yeah it is rare (and annoyingly crap) but other than the fire truck missions, where would you get it?
