Car HELP!

I need help choosing my next car. Right now im running the Mazda Miata MX-5 (J), ive been able to soup it up to hit 280 HP. Im looking to get a new car that can run around 300. Ive been able to narrow my choices between several American and Japanese cars, but I can't decide. Here are my choices:

American:

Chevrolet Camaro SS-$29,530
325 hp @5,200 rpm
258 lb-ft @2,400 rpm.
1,560 kg
Rear Wheel Drive

Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport-$40,010
330 hp @5,800 rpm
339 lb-ft @4,500 rpm
1,496 kg
Rear Wheel Drive

Ford GT Mustang Cobra R-$31,150
384 hp @6,250 rpm
384 lb-ft@4,250 rpm
1,628 kg
Rear Wheel Drive

Japanese:

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (fill in the blank)
276 hp @6,500 rpm
274, 276 @ 2,650, 2,750, 3,000, 3,500 rpm (dependent on, model)
1,260, 1,320, 1,360, hp (dependant on model)
4WD Drive

Now the American cars far outweigh the Lancer but the Lancer is considerbaly lighter, and 4WD Drive. I like all of them and cant make a decision please help ASAP so I can get ris of my Mazda.

Oh wait... that wasn't a choice... Get the Lancer then. It's great, and it'll handle far better than the others you've listed.
 
Get the corvette! You'll be seeing 2 much lancers troughout the game anyways :) Oh, and take the ZO6!
 
Okay, if you have a better suggestion than tell me.

I don't really care if there are many lancers i just want a good car that doesnt understeer like my god forsaken piece of junk mazda miata!

But deosnt the american cars being rear wheel have a tendency to spin-pot?

Sorry but Ive been debating this for a long time and want to get the best car for my money.
 
Well since you're early on in the game, you want to think about which championships you can enter. If I were in your position, I would buy the Lancer, since it is lighter, which means that when tyre wear becomes an issue, it will be better for you. Also, you can shove dirt tyres on it and do the rallies (I did nearly all the rallies with a modded street Lancer). You can enter the "Evolution", "4WD", and "Turbo" championships as well, and you should be able to get through some of the others too.

Go for the Lancer. :)

Alright then...maybe you SHOULD get the lancer. Probably a VI RS or GSR (the VII's are uglyyyyy)
 
Save your money and the Miata, you can get 335HP out of it. Did you get an oil change? It's cheap HP.

Buy something for many races. And there are a lot of other cars you should consider.

You bought it, you know. And all you have to do is learn how to drive the Miata. You can win a lot of races with it.

Go a head and buy your POS Lancer!

J/K, but don't go around bad mouthing a Car & Driver 10 Best.

The Miata has great handling, you just have to get used to it, and set it up right.
 
Well, I've never been a big fan of the Miata, sorry to sound sexist, but it's kind of girlie, too me at least. I mean, we all know which is the girlie car of the F bodies. Camaro, Camaro, camaro. And there is the GT Mustang. Fortunately, many girls, I trust, know what the truly badass cars are, and the #@@#$ New Beetle aint one of them.

I used the Miata in one of the other GTs, thing was loose.
 
Sorry to sound so mad, it's just your opinion.

It's not really a girls' car, my uncle had one, and I've seen a ton of ladies in SLKs and Mustangs, it's just that there's a fine line between a car being a well liked car by all and a girls' car.

I had a big arguement with a freind over if I'd like a Ferrari or an RX-7, so, I said RX-7 and my friend couldn't understand....I had to tell him that It's better in my case since my dad's a Mech, and the insurince is a ton cheaper. It's based on opinion, but he couldn't get passed it.

He finally dropped it after I said I'd take the Ferrari.



And I'm not mad at you, you simply said you didn't like the Miata, and gave good reasons. Halo, however, gave easily fixable reasons, and some that just made it sound like the car as a whole was terrible. It'd be the same if he said it about any other car.

People should know what they're talking about before they post something so ignorant.

I went for the Lancer VII GSR for my second car so I would suggest a Lancer of some sort. I'm not a big fan of the Corvette Grand Sport so I would suggest you steer clear of that IMO. The Corvette ZO6 isn't too bad though but its more expensive and anyways it ain't on your list.
 
go with the Corvette z06 or the WRX there the best cars that i have used for the start but i let my WRX be my work horse it has everything power, grip and the best rally car ever:burnout:

I like all my cars, but the miata mx-5, zo6, and camaro ss are my favorites. My next car is going to be a Lancer.
 
1 of the most appealing things about the GT series is the way it gives everybody a different view of the cars in the game and thus different favourites.I personally have 23 cars in my garage and only have an IB licence but the choice and variety of car is totally bewildering. :eek: :confused:

and a couple more i can't remember. lol. I really like how you need different cars in every league. GT3 is a great game! Inow have 25 cars, and am in amateur league. I use no cheats whatsoever. Ijust race.
