Yeah JDM is pretty messed up thing,i was non-stop wondering about Supra RZ,it has twin turbo,and 280hp,280hp my ass :D:D:D
 
its well known thats the supra is undertuned, you can get tuning kit that get the car up to 900HP (600hp without changing the turbines) from many companies including TRD
 
Yeah,i think that chip-tuning on that car makes really big difference.Beacuse that Twin-turbo.I would personally "hide" HP on JDM with wrong chip tuning,and in the car manual i would write some info how to get the horses from the car!
 
i have an idea, why would we would not write the car info ourselve on the sites :)
 
I say they should bring back the Supra, in the States & Europe, and put it stock 500 hp. Then we'd have some serious tuning action.

The Gentlemen's Agreement has already been abolished. That's what chinny was referring to. ;)

Honda officially broke it in 2004 with the introduction of a 300hp V6 for the JDM Legend (Acura RL).

smart Idea...a model wiki. I'd like some better history for the oldies..and some clarification for the Prince versions as well. does this site have a wiki?
 
Yeah,i see that concepts have much more power than JDM standards.So what about R390GT,is it licensed like some Limited Edition or what?

That i'm not quite sure of but it may have something to do with it, to my knowledge it had something to do with 'exhaust gas regulations'

Also, it was in collaboration with Le Mans and they also had regulations...
