Car list as Excel spreadsheet

I know there are other car lists but I offer mine for what it's worth. Like others, it's a work in progress as I'm slowly inputting used car prices and the prize car portion is still incomplete. The nice thing is you can sort it by make or year of manufacture or price or prize, depending on your mood. Just make sure to select all the columns before sorting or you could really screw things up. :-)

I didn't start this until I was a bit into the game so I didn't make note of the cars I won with those Level X free car tickets. I suspect these are random choices so the information might not be that useful anyway.

All dealership prices are fixed but I have noticed a random variation in the price of used cars as they appear multiple times. So far it has been an insignificant amount but just be aware.

Hope some find it helpful.

Nice Job! Keep up the good work. Perhaps you should post a link to this list in the Market Place - i think everyone trying to do deals would find it very handy given that you list prices - people will be able to judge a fair trade. They might also be able to help you out with prices you don't have. :-)

Some people could open it, others couldn't, so I've placed it on the server here at the College. The path is http://abacus.bates.edu/~gdudley/GT5 Car List.xlsx

This file is from early yesterday. I've added prefix letter/number combos the prize data to better organize the sorting.

I'm close to having half the used car prices. It's a slow slog but it's coming.

Good work 👍

If you can add weight and power it would be neat, especially so that we have power-to-weight ratios available then.

I just noticed that this version does not have the prefix for sorting the prize category. I'll get that up when I can.

I decided not to include weight and power because once you start tuning the cars those figures can change dramatically. Also, I'm more a car collector than racer so it is less of a factor for me. All I need to know is I can get my hands on a '54 Corvette. I don't need to know the exact HP or weight. :-)

Just uploaded the most current file. This includes the prefix that better sorts prize data.

http:\\www.bates.edu\~gdudley\GT5CarList.xlsx (you may need to copy and paste the url).

I completed my first new level since starting the spreadsheet last night so I noted the car I got with the A-Spec Professional Level 12 gift card but I assume this will vary with each player.

Anyone is welcome to submit prices I don't already have and I'll include them in my next upload.

I've moved this thread to the Marketplace "Car prices in Excel" so this is the last update I'll send to this thread.

I uploaded the latest file to my google docs account and left the permissions open for anyone to edit. All you need to do is go to the link in the attached text document, didnt want to post the direct link to keep spammers from getting access

i added fields for the car specs so power to weight can be calculated, as well as what level the car is

Hi, I'm not sure if you're open to additions, but here goes:

I have 3 different models of the x2010 and believe they are distinct cars; their titles are different and are as follows:

1 - Red Bull X2010 Prototype
2 - Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel
3 - Red Bull X2010

You get #1 from golding the vettel challenges
You get #2 from other prizes, not sure which ones, but got them a while ago (I have 2 of these)
You get #3 from buying at the dealer

As for #1, I could swear it handles better than the other x2010's...it's distinction though is the all carbon fiber look.

How do you get the prototype? I have the other two but am curious about this one.
