Car Malfunction at Eiger Nordwand

Greetings! I wondered if anyone else has experienced a problem we've seen several times at Eiger Forward: in 2P racing, the car operated by the #2 controller suddenly slows down, even at max throttle, as it rounds the corner up into the snowshed, and continues to slow down - ruining the race. This happens after about a half-dozen successful 2p Eiger races without warning. The controller is always fully charged. We can switch to the Reverse direction and the problem doesn't occur. Any ideas?
 
maybe some type of interference? what other wireless devices do you have around your PS3?
 
Does it also happen when you switch controller assignments?
 
Once it starts, does the problem occur in each successive race, or is it intermittent?

Sounds like a bug that starts acting up once the system gets hot. I've also experienced one or two weird things there (a while ago, the game just froze up on me coming out of the tunnel). Could also be your disc... if it keeps happening in exactly the same spot, then there could be something happening when your system reads that specific portion of the disc. Try checking it for smudges or scratches. Another way to check would be to borrow someone else's copy.
