Car menu bug

When i go to my car list and open a car to where it shows the car and the stats beside it then click tune or change car, the screen freezes. Just gt5. I can still click the PS button. Nothing was happening so i quit the game. Thing is, when i quit the game, it didnt go back to the xmb screen. The ps3 restarted. anyone else have this problem? It is post v1.07. its never happened before.
 
Never happened in that exact manner , but my game freezes a lot to where you have to quit and some times it restarts my ps3 and others it just takes me to xmb .
