Car Milage Incorrect/Changing

Something I noticed and don't understand...

I race my Sprint Cup (Nascar) car online with my freinds a lot. One night I looked at my milage and realized that all the miles that I drove earlier that night did not get added to the milage of my car. It still said 655 miles as it had before that night of racing. The next night I happened to look again and all of the miles from the previous night had now been added on, it read 963 miles. I thought that was odd but whatever, maybe it takes some time to update. No big deal. Then, I changed my oil and when I went back into the garage the milage said 8XX (eight hundred and something, I don't remember exactly how many). So after my oil change, the milage went down somewhere around 100 miles.

Anyone else seen this or know why? Just curious...

Maybe Mileage online does not count. Although the oil change one seems like a glitch.

Well it did count the miles I raced online it just seemed to take a while to update... Besides, I believe the first patch had something in it that added your online miles to the car so they should be updating.

Anyone else seeing a delay in the miles being added, or a decrease in miles after oil changes?
