Car park "accident"

Me and the wife parked our car in a local supermarket car park. We came back to find a note on the screen, presumably from someone who saw it, telling us that a red BMW 3 series had just scraped our car. Its the same side thats just been fixed after she scrped it getting it out of the drive - so its pretty annoying.

So the guy who did it just left without doing anything. We go to the 5-0 and register the details to get him sorted out but they phone back a bit later on to tell us that his reg number isnt registered !!! So not only has he scraped all down the side of the car but his car isnt even registered. probably a ringer or cut n shut.

We looked through all the security tapes of the garage to see if he came for fuel before he parked and he did !! We saw the car in the petrol station before he parked up, so we know what he looks like :trouble:

So Famine/Ultrabeat its a red BMW 3 series - 318 I think - If you see it, immobilise it then post here to tell me where it is !!!!

Now we have to fix it AGAIN !
 
There's a much quicker way of finding out at least what a certain registration plate is applied to, even if you can't find out the owner...

Post the plate here and I'll let you know if it actually IS registered to something. If it is, you can take the details back to the rozzers and say "sooo... not registered, is it?"

yeah it is just my g/f but as a slang term we often call "them" wife !!!

Famine I'll see if I can get the plate - I dunno what we've done with the bit of paper left on the w/screen, I'll find it and get you the reg number - Thanks

It was a good night, no-one being ill from drinking too much, no fighting, no falling out and she really enjoyed it. We were drinking diesel by the end of the night, half cider half lager with a shot of blackcurrant !!
 
What's Famine going to do, look it up on one of those British "create-a-plate" sites to see if it's taken?

Doesn't tell you whose it is, but it'll tell you WHAT it is, if it's registered. If it comes up with something, then he can take it back to the police with the phrase "So... not registered then?"
 
Ive had a check and cant find it Famine ?? The scrape is not huge so we'll probably just fix it when we get back off our holidays, which we are setting off on in 1 hour !!! wooohooo !!!
