Forgot to add whats the story with the arcade weights?Anything thats not at -10% is potential trouble when it comes time to verify.

I suggest we just let the teams vote as they want, then if there are little problems like this we'll just have to modify the race settings slightly. This kind of stuff is bound to happen and it's about impossible to get over 150 people on the exact same line of thought about picking these races.

Well i can say one thing for sure, the fix it later approach will save me lots of time testing.Anything thats not -10% weight or full gt mode mods gets scratched off the list automatically.

As JB has pointed out in another thread, if we leave loopholes open it will only lead to problems in the end.

Most of us have had time to become very familiar with the idosyncronies of race design in GT4. Without a way to tech inspect cars, it leaves the possibility open of a replay being submitted that is counter to whatever rules governed, either intentionally or unintentionally.

I'd like to propose that we continue on the current course of voting, and once the final races have been selected, that the Team Managers meet in the Manager's forum to finalize race specs to avoid any pitfalls that may crop up, by clarifying any issues of Weight and/or non-HP specifications. There is no reason that we cannot resolve these issues quickly, for the benefit of all the drivers.

Some drivers may be resistant to this idea, but it is up to us as the team managers, along with Duke, to make hard decisions as neccessary to make sure that there are no problematic issues with the race specifications before the competetion begins

I'm all for this too NQ. Let's get rid of all possible problems before they begin to cause arguments. I'm sure all of us would like to keep this as friendly and as laid back as possible 👍

That's why the polls are going to open and close around the third week in August; so there is time to hammer out any detail changes and publish the final round descriptions by September 1.

I guess it would be good for everyone to be informed of the need to post race combos that leave the very least amount of loopholes. Would have been ideal to have all race entries modified right away so that people who vote for it know 'exactly' what they are voting for and not have to problem of them having voted for a certain race that in the end might have to be altered. Captains and managers need to think about the above mentioned races and might consider changing the races so as to avoid any last minute alterations. If we can get rid of the bugs that come with GT4 OLR early i'm sure it would be the prefferred way for most.

But at the end of the day i'll go with whatever the BC5 admins go with (and my TT teamies). At least we can discuss these issues here and it is good to see some valid points being raised.

Take a breath guys and have a few brews. The racing has not even started yet 👍

This one needs to have the weight adjusted.

Yes, if modifications are 'open' then all addable items are acceptable.
