After a recent question, I decided to look into how much cars are worth in "Trade".

For instance, you can't buy the Nissan Z concept, you have too win it. However, if you have it on a second memory card, you can "trade" it to the first card. It's only money....

This may be listed in better detail elsewhere, but I have no idea. If one of you know where, by all means add a link.

Prices:
(NTSC)

Nissan Z Concept: 300,000credits
Celica TRD: 25,500
Acura RSX: 30,000
Mugen S2000: 65,000
Tom’s X540 Chaser: 65,000

Hopefully, we can compile a list of "Winable" cars, and their prices.

AO- you can easily decipher what each car "costs" by taking its selling value and multiplying by four. ;)
 
I believe he's trying to compile a price list of the unbuyable prize cars.

Yes, I know. ;) For example...

When you win the Nissan Z concept car, and look at it in your garage, you'll notice that you can sell it for 75,000 credits. If you multiply that by four, voila! 300,000 credits. That formula can be used on all cars, whether you can only win them or you can buy them too. All cars sell for one-fourth of their "retail" value. :)

D'OH! Sorry, y_c, I misunderstood AO's misunderstanding and thought YOU misunderstood. It never occured to me that Alta didn't realize that wholesale was 25% of retail.

Hey, as an aside, the 'virgin oil change' trick gives you 5% extra horsepower.
