Car Review: Turismo

This shall be the first of many reviews I'll write over time, on the rare and special vehicles in the game. The Turismo being the most hyped, and one that I just got, shall the be the first.

Name: Turismo.
What It Looks Like: Ferrari F40 with the rear end of a Venturi 400GT
What it takes to get: Complete 2nd Board of Import/Export, and a $76000 pricetag.
The one I'm driving: Yellow, Groove wheels, 10x Nitrous, and Hydros.
Tuned At: Transfender.


Wow. Thats all that really needs to be said about this car.

Top End Speed: After a few runs up and down the SF Freeway, I've decided that this is the absolute fastest car ever in a GTA game. I don't think the Hotring Racer even stands a chance vs this thing. 10 of 10.

Handling: On top of its insane speed, It really can turn. Unlike the Banshee's insane tail, this thing has the control of a Train. It really can hold the road. 9 of 10

Cool Factor: Dude. It's the Turismo. 10 of 10

Downsides: So cool, you'll never let it leave your garage. Thats where mine is, thats where mine stays.
It takes alot of work to actually finish off 2 boards of I/E so you can get it.

Overall: Best car in a GTA yet. And that can almost be a bad thing.

Maybe you haven't unlocked it yet but they do drive in Las Venturas and there are quite a lot of them.....so no need te be very carefull with your ride there...
 
Theres Turismo's in LV?!
I've NEVER seen one.
Theres Bullets in LV. But never a Turismo.

I've finished off the story without seeing one.
Maybe you're just lucky.
 
Must be then..never seen one on the Strip either??
Because, when I play it, they are always there :sly:

But I do agree, it's one of the best cars in the game. Handling is great, looks pretty cool and a really good top speed to match it.

Yeah, I have one in my beach house garage...this car is ridiculous ! So freaking fast, but I am a bike kinda guy, I found a racing street bike, ( I cannot remember where, sorry ) I forget the first three letters but its a 500, but its race spec'd out, so it turns like a bastige and when you step on the gas, the screen blurs right away with speed.....brakes stop you RIGHT NOW, best thing to drive on the street EVER !

PCJ500? :lol: I don't know. I looked for this Bike, but I couldn't find it. I love the speed of the HSV1000 (or whatever the Police Bike is called), and I don't mind the Wayfarer.

Still, I can't go past my beloved Savanna.

I love the new Banshee!
 
nope, not a PCJ..is it different, no one else drives it on the street, its red and white with racing decals all over it, found it in an underground car park in a hilly section, I tried to find it again so I would have two of them, but couldn't re-trace my steps....( SO HUGE ! )
 
Yeah, it is a Racing Bike apparantly. This was semi-discussed in the New Details thread, but noone was fully sure.
 
Hrm, i gotta find that one... What city was it in? (if spoiler for other people, pm me?) :)
 
I just found a Turismo in LV and ive only just got in LV and done the first Wu mission.

my god, its a fast one too.
 
Hope you find it, I would love to get my hands on it.
 
The NRG-500 (racing bike) is in a corner of the building in Easter Basin where the dry dock is.
 
And theres also the "FCR 900"?? i think it looks like the PCJ 600 but only has a single exhaust its friggin cool too, havent found that race one though ill have a look 2nite.
 
I've driven the 900, it's like the 400 bike, but it's helluva fast (maybe even faster than the PCJ).

And I just found a Turismo in LV! My garage in Fort Carson looks very nice right now! A Turismo and a Bullet!
 
I think he means a NRG500 which can be found on the Docks in San Fierro. In the Shipyard on the left, quite near the place you can to import/export cars.
 
thats the one, NRG500 that bike is by far the illest bike in the game, handling and speed wise
 
Are you crazy? the NRG is beautiful, and psycho fast. THey're in los Santos as well, there's one on top of a parking garage.
 
I stole one in Los Santos. How? Drive around. Swear. If you are super lucky, you can spot a rare car. I've spotted it, a 3 Cheetahs, 4 Comets, but not Bullet's yet. Soon as I unlock L.V. Its going there.
 
Best car I've seen in Los Santos is the Banshee. Other than that, I've been focusing on my own thing and missions. Oh well. I'll get to see 'em all when I finish the game.
 
Id love it if someone would post a pic of a bullet!.
Has anyone seen the "Elegy" i think its called, it looks like and R32 Skyline, almost fainted when i saw it, needless to say theres a silver one in my garage in Doherty.
 
My favorite so far is that chop top chevy truck (don't remember the real name) ....Only found one in LS and it is by far the coolest looking car.

The "Slamvan" is awesome!, and by far the best car to use on the Los Santos low rider mission i think, cause its quick.

True!

Im in the san fierro missions,
i have a bullet (GT40) in my garage, that i stole from a carpark

And i had my hands on a Slamvan,
but then i tried that trick from vice city, park multiple cars in your garages,
garage closed, garaged opened, it dissapeared. :ouch:
