Love EVO magazine , love there car reviews .
All about drivers cars , not so much the fastest or most expensive but the ones with that certain magic , connection and feel .
Evoness
Where even part throttle half speed is just fun and involving.
GT6 has really got it right this time , flick the abs off the traction and just enjoy the drive ...
Some cars have it some don't .
Last night the S1 lotus really blow my socks off !
Other Gt just had it down as a tail happy rocket with no real speed .
But now the way it turns in so eager , point it at a apex late and u think it's not going to make it but like it's on tracks it whips round pore on the gas and the back end follows , feeling brave a bit more gas and the back is more than happy to play out wide .
Really keen how to drive it.

Give us a review of other drivers cars that we simply must buy n drive :)

So iv been buying up lots of potential drivers cars and taking them to a short track for a few laps all aids of to see what cars give them most out the box thrills and smiles from the involvement needed to drive em .
Not the fastest or easiest to drive but the most rewarding.
Starting low in the PP world and working my way up haven't got much over 500pp yet and already had some surprises and some bitter disappointments .

Stand out Elise '96
It's lack of power forces maximum effort and reward to push a good lap .
The Elise 190 has the power but nowhere near the fun .
The Elise 111R '04 is another must .

Garaiya '02 and ZZ-S '00 super fun
El Camino SS and Charger super Bee hemi tick the low speed tail out fun .

The jaguar S-type R '02 is more fun than the M5 ! Sounds great too
The must buy n drive GT cars tho stand out as the XKR R Performance '02 jag is so playful , don't let the lack of dash put you off
Honda HSC is worth it's price
Bmw Z8 is a hand full and really fun to tame .

Lotus Esprit Sport 350 hours of fun , amazing car to drive as is .

Big surprise is the Countach LP400. It's rapid ! U really have to alter the way you drive it will under steer if u get it wrong but get it right and it eats the corners up one after another.
The lambo Miura set a seriously fast lap time , get it right and it's a thing of beauty get it wrong and u end up hating it . Defo worth the 20mil .

The ultimate drivers car so far and the one to beat is the Suzuki gsx-r

The Countach is a lovely addition, imho it handles wayyy better than other Lamborghini's, most of the newer models have oversteer issues due to a heavy rear, but the Countach is amazing at it.

My favorite car is still the Quattro S1, the way it devours corners and twitches is amazing, not a hard car to master, but the turbos on it really push it out on the straights, going from a 1st gear corner to 5th gear on the straights in a matter of seconds, its amazing.

The SLS AMG, the one that isn't FIA standardized is quite cool as well. Putting on Sports Hard tires and its immense powerband and torque makes it a monstrous car. This car does not corner, it powerslides through corners, with so much torque it can't enter a corner unless it does so in spectacular fashion.

The Light Car Company Rocket is a peppy and whizzy machine. Some people compare it to the X Bow, but its beyond the dimensions of the X Bow. At the expense of the engine, the car weighs many times lighter, and it lacks the oversteer of the X Bow, this car is built to have fun, a go kart that can demolish lap times.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage, this car is heavy at times due to the load of creature comforts and gadgetry that most sports cars at that price range would forgo. The upside of it is that immense 6.0 L V12, the power coming from this car makes up and more for the hefty weight. Getting it around corners is difficult due to some understeer issues from a heavy car, but you will look beyond fashionable doing it.

My car of the week that I tested has to be the Corvette Stingray 2014. As with FR and MR cars, those with immense power have oversteer issues, this Stingray has none, and at the price range it is offered in the game, it becomes one of the best bargain prices, and IRL as well. This car is cheaper than an M3, an M5, and by looking at the price, one would assume that its garbage. Wrong, the handling is superior to other Corvettes, and the powerband and the weight of the car and the distribution, it is a match made in heaven. Some cars have too much power in a light car, others have too little power in a heavy car, this car finds that perfect balance, to help you find the apex, burn through it, and demolish your lap times. In summary BUY THE STINGRAY

Oooh will have to go grab that stingray now and the Quattro.

The anniversary countash wasn't a good a drive as the original , I thought they would be the same but the back ends all over the place .
The Mercedes EVO was a favorite from GT5 ..... Failed to impress me this time tho :(

The one car i really like right now is the Ferrari GTO. I wanted to buy it for some reason and i did :) First i went a couple laps of the nurburgring completely stock and i really liked the way it handled. You can push it in a slide just by braking hard and then controlling throttle to not spin and thats very fun. So then i went and upgraded it :) to 809HP. I can only say that the car is brutal. There is no other Word for it i really enjoy driving it but its not really a car its more like...a murder weapon. It punishes every mistake you make but if you tame it its an awesome car to drive

The F40 is a beautiful creature . Really get a sence of having to get that fat heavy rear in order way before the corners . Get it right and it carrys u round beautifuly , or carrys u off lol .
Mite have two buy two gtos now , one tame one brutal

My favourite car is the Ferrari GTO. At first I was a little hesitant to spend 1.250.000 credits on a road car but boy, am I glad I did.
It's a fun car to cruise with but it's also fun to wring its neck around the Nurb ( in both stock and tuned form. Yes I have two GTO's, because I can :D ).

In GT5 the NSX Type R '02 was my favourite, but it has been demoted to second place by the GTO.
( It's a shame though that the tacho doesn't work properly. )

That being said, I have a stock NSX Type R '02 and a fully tuned one and I still adore those two.
Those 4 cars rack up the most of my mileage.

( just realised that I, unlike quite a lot of people on GTPlanet, love the MR's in GT6 )

I'm finding that this MR handling bug people have is a mystery to me , there the best and most realistic handling cars in the game

Another great car is the Subaru Impreza 22B. It handles really well not that good but more fun :) it slides around a corner like its meant for Ghymkana again like the GTO its a lot of fun to drive.
Then there is the McLaren F1. I have the stealth model because i like the way it looks haha and i really like the way it drives. It just grips and you can control it with such ease because its very light. You go in too fast, brake hard, let off the gas and go through the corner then bam hit the gas pedal and you fly away.
Ill try more cars and write my thoughts about them a bit later.

To early to tell but yes F40 was a blast. So easy to 4-wheel drift it through corners. You don´t need to brake just drift and shave off speed that way.

Yeh as long as your not going in the corner like a bat out of he'll you just tilt the rear in let it do the work, wait till it passes the apex then decided if to ease the juice and power out or be a bit of a hooligan and smoke the exit .
It's driving bliss

Oooh wow the SP1 is a little go kart ! Wasn't nothing like this in GT5

The lambo reveniton , what a surprise
Took the GT Diablo out first and it's a interesting animal , rolling round that rear and waiting patiently before flooring it , but feeling like your never free to use the power .... Then jump into the reventon and wow the strange gearing and power delivery. The way it turns in ! It turns and turns and you wait for under steer but it turns more so then you worry about that rear engine ,remembering the massive lump back the you wince waiting for the spin but even when the power overwhelms the rear tyres it just drifts to the angle you desire.

Two different animals , but all the lambos have really came to life in Gt6
