Car selection in split screen mode for GT5.

I hate it. I really REALLY do.

I wish they had used a system similar to GT4. The split screen mode for GT4 was AWESOME. The ONLY thing it lacked was the ability to save a replay. Now that we have the ability to save a replay, we need to be able to just open up our garage just like we could in GT4. I would even like it if the setup was just like GT4 too, sortable, you could set what characteristics were being shown, and you could see the WHOLE garage. I miss that part of GT4, my buddy and I would use the power to weight ratio, and HP settings on GT4 in the garage, arrange it based on PWR, and then would pick cars with similar PWR and HP numbers and race them. We had some awesome races doing that. That isn't even remotely possible in GT5, and I don't like it at all... (I also wish we could have AI on the track in split screen mode, but I don't think that will ever happen)
 
i hear that, 100% of the time im in split screen im playing with my wife,so i have to go to my garage let her pick a few cars,(small boring and slow ones that are "cute")then back to arcade,

not a huge issue but it gets old real quick,

Yes, that too. It will flicker through a few cars for one person, then flicker across a few for the other. I liked it better when it was just one at a time, and you were using the garage. :grumpy: I hate that I don't get what I want all the time, lol.

Theres even a bigger flaw with split screen. The aspect ratio is faulty somehow. Its a pain in the ass to determine break and steering points in splitscreen due to this.
I really love split screen but it gives me headaches sometimes.
