Car Settings don’t Translate to a Race

When I change car settings on my GR3 race car in the garage, they revert back to the default settings from when I bought the car on pre race settings. It doesn’t recognize my fully customizable transmission either, Why?

If it's BOP (Balance Of Performance I think) then the settings (weight and HP) are adjusted to make all cars on the track more or less equal. Your original settings won't be lost.

There's your answer then, when you enter a BoP race you can't do anything to the car.

OP could mean that the settings don't get imported for the BOP races with specific tuning allowed. I find that really annoying and a stupid decision by PD.

On the other hand, not being able to use your setup levels up the playing field.

I think they're referring to the way Sport Mode doesn't seem to like keeping customised suspension settings, even on owned cars, between Daily Races (where applicable)
