Car Shake or Bounce on Straights?

I was just playing around with GTR2 and in that the cars "shake" on bounce around on their suspension in straight aways. Will this be added in a future release?

We get some bouncing at high speeds at Daytona.

Aren't the cars supposed to bounce around a little?

They bounce when they go over bumps and dips, like you notice on Daytona. All the cars in GT5P are road cars (some tuned examples) which have a much more forgiving softer ride than a race car that is in GTR2.

The reation you see on GTR2 (and it does appear in GT5:P) depends on the cars suspension set-up and more sepcifically the relationship between the spring and damper rates, the difference between sprung and unsprung mass and the level of downforce the car is running.

Its not as simply as saying all cars should do it.

Don't Forget GTR2 also have more HEAD movement so it seems more VIOLENT shaking then in GT5P . If Gran Turismo adds the Simulate G-Force effects in cockpit view, then it will feel bit like GTR2.

My 'Motorsoprt' Elise has a rev limit bounce/kick! I was racing Daytona the other night, and drafted into the first corner in excess of 200mph, as my final gear was also set for 200mph, it caused the back end to 'kick' out a touch, which in turn caused me to lose control of the car. :ouch:

Since then, I'm a little more wary when I'm approaching the rev limit if I'm travelling at speed and turning. Anyone else noticed this? 👍

Can't compare GT5P with GTR2 or any other sim. The track model is simply sub-par interms of details and I am NOT talking about visual. Anyone who actually drove on the in roads of Daytona can tell you GT5P is far far far from reality interms of the road surface.

But none of this is even relavent when we don't even have tire wear and tire temperature. I am always intrigued when people try to compare the cars in GT5P to "whats real" when huge chuncks of physics is literally missing from the game, the car and the circuit.

Ahhh! That must be it. That probably explains the tilting in turns. Cool effect. I hope they put that into GT5. I see the same bouncing in LFS. It's a little thing but it would really add to the immersion.

Rocket Punch,
Doesn't GT5P have tire temperature? I notice my second lapse are faster and grip better. Maybe it's just my imagination :)
And if tire wear occurs only after long races then I could live without it. But I remember even Super Monoco GP for the Genesis (or Master System?) had tire wear. You had to put cuz your tires got worn out but it was greatly exaggerated.
