I miss your point.:indiff: I know the Rabbit is the Golf. And it is bigger than the Polo. I may have been wrong (again....:ouch:) about the Fox being smaller than the Polo though.

The Fox is smaller than the Polo, you were right. The confusing thing is that VW had apparently had plans to (get this) import the Polo, as the Fox. As a previous Fox owner, I'd love to have the car back in the US as either-or, but at the same time, I think I'd rather have the "real" Fox here as the bargain-basement stripper so cheapies like me can have a new car too.

I don't think the classes here are too rigid, but probably not as fluid as Freddy says. I'm sure there are several cars that say they belong to one group, but could go into another also. And with the new cars coming out, you really wonder if they are replacing the cars aimed above them......

Really? Wiki says it is an MPV. Perhaps it just isn't what I thought of as a sub-Polo car.

And I'm pretty interested to see what VW might do with the Polo if it came over here. I will admit that it would be cool to see a cheapo Polo, but I wouldn't be surprised if VW could squeeze a really nice one (Like Jetta nice) in for under $12k. Maybe a Polo GTI with the 2.0T for 17 g's?

The Polo GTI has the 1.8T under the hood, but I believe you can option it down to the infinitely awesome 1.4L TSI (Turbocharged/supercharged) engine in some versions. That would truly make thinks interesting in a class thats so clearly dominated by the Honda Fit, which is a hilariously fun car even without any major sporting modifications.

I do hear the new Suzuki SX4 Sport (Sedan) is quite the car as well... Basically our version of the Swift Sport without being a Swift. I'll have to check one out...
