Car Specific Time Trial Times

Hey all,

This is my first post on the site, but I've been reading these forums for ages now, and have passed many a boring hour at work reading about my new favourite game.

Anyways I have a quick (and potentially stupid) question.

I have been doing laps in the online time trial modes in my Ferrari F430 for the last hour or two. I finished up and checked my online rankings, to see that my ranking is recorded correctly in the overall ranking page (405th in the F430, I thought that was quite good?), but not the F430 specific page. I realised that all the times recorded on the Ferrari page were on S2 tyres so I went back and did some laps on those with no luck, still won't record.

Forgive me if I'm missing something really obvious, but I'm a little stuck. I want my name in the record books!

There's two separate time-trials rankings:

1) Online Time Trial Events - accessed via the "online" option of the main menu, these will rotate on a regular basis and presumably introduce new variables like model-specific events and higher/lower performance point maximums. These events disappear after a period of time.

2) Arcade Time Trials - accessed via the "arcade" option of the main menu, then the stopwatch icon of the following menu. No tuning allowed* and S2 tires for all cars, with perpetual car-specific leaderboards for professional and standard settings.

* - though you can adjust or turn off ABS and/or adjust braking force via the in-game QT options.

I think I've seen a few of your videos on Youtube? I liked the one of the F40 from the F2007 cockpit. Nice work.

I just managed a 1:13.5 in the F430 in arcade mode. Good for 127th. 27 more to go quicker than and I'm famous!
 
I got 84th in the Ferrari F40 in suzuka after just my first 3laps ever in the car. :sly:

Nice one JackM, I'm still saving up for that beast.

Its so tempting to spend my money on the other cool cars I can afford, but I've got to have that F40, I'm all about the Ferrari's.
 
So much for me being proud of my 127th! :guilty:

I've obviously got some work to do. I'm using the old SIXAXIS, which probably doesn't help. Looking at getting a wheel setup eventually, I'm hoping that'll speed me up a second or two.
