I was wondering if the "soon" to be released GT4 will include some of the technologies from car manufacturers?
Such as VTEC-i from Honda/Acura, VVTL-i from Toyota, ARS from BMW, etc...
I think if GT4 offers these type of technology goodies, i will emphasie the difference in characteristic of each car from different manufacturers.

The GT series already had the VTECs, but I'm not sure about the things you listed. It might get to confusing for gamers to list all the "brand" mames for new car technologies.

These technologies you are talking about are built into the engine which affect the valve timing which in turn affect the engine's output in torque and horsepower. This has been key data used by PD since GT1 to accurately portray the performance of each vehicle in the game. This is one of the many parameters that they program into each car that makes them all feel so unique and accurate to the real life car. This is why we love GT games so much.

There are diffrences in Hondas and Toyotas compared to other cars in the GT game, you can see engine variations from the S2000 to the 787B with its high pitched rotary. The S2000 can redline at 10,000rpm and keep goin, so the developers have considered engine managment systems in their design.
