I wondered. Gran Turismo is the ultimate car enthusiast game. We must have many trivial facts and stories to share about the cars in the game, others might not know. Maybe we can collect some here. I start with two of my own.
Did you know the Ferrari 250 GTO CN.3729GT in the game is actually the "Bianco Speciale" - the only white 250 GTO ever built, that lately sold in Mecum Kissimmee Auction for 38,5M$? It was just painted red back in the day when PDI scanned it for Gran Turismo. Maybe PDI should add the original "Bianco Speciale" livery as a choice for the car in GT7?
Did you know the only known original street version of the AMG 300 SEL "Waxenberger" was sold new to Finland - or that one even existed? It is still owned by the same family. If we only had the original bumbers and auxilliary light removal available in GT7 I could finalize this replica.😁
