Car weights

Panoz is still 250kg overweight. 1150 vs 900. CLK-LM is overweight. 1000kg vs. ~900-920. McLaren (bmw) F1 GTR long tail is overweight. 950kg vs. 900. The list goes on.

I know certain cars have success ballasting factored into their weights. (Success ballasting is when the racing series the car competes in adds weight to the car after it wins races.)

I'm not sure if the cars you listed were in leagues that used success ballasting.

This is likely why the 2003 Takata DOME NSX was so fast in GT5, even though it was at around 1130 kg.

1180kg. The NSX was given a weight penalty because it was mid engine in the JGTC while the Supra and GTR were front engine. And then again in 2008 in Super GT. The Panoz was not 1150kg though. The CLK LM and F1 GTR may have weights taken from LeMans, but I dont think they were any different to their weight in FIA GT.

Is the '03 Takata DOME NSX just as fast in GT6? I never got to drive it yet in that game. Horrible event payouts have hindered this...
