Car year bug.

On a few races I've noticed that when it has a year limit, say 1969 or earlier, when I choose a car that was made in 1962 it will say that I can't race as I have to use a car that is 1969 or earlier.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks.

If you are talking about the Buick Special, for some reason the game doesn't recognize it's year when entering events with it. It shows the car's year on some of the game's menus, but on other menus, it's missing.

Same problem with the Art Morrison 1960 Corvette, doesn't register the date :/

Yea I've noticed this also, strange

Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. It's happened to a lot of other races too. I thought my game bugged while installation.

It's because the cars mentioned are actually considered to be replica show cars, which have a model year in the 2000's.

That would make sense is the Grand Touring Garage Mustang didn't register as a 1970.

No not replicas but custom cars based on cars made in '60, '62 or '70 so PD decided these cars aren't eligible for certain events made for original cars.
To be honest, they should've made those 'original' years part of the model name and put in the year these customs were build as the age of the car to avoid any confusion.
