If i were to build a limited run of 50 PrinceNigel Carbon Monaro R's, and sell them for, say, 120K a piece, would anybody be willing to buy them? Not only would you own a machine which emodies the spirit of the doomed HRT427, it would say "Prince Nigel" on it's butt.

Prince Nigel Monaro R
Powerplant : LS2 Supercharged

Suspension:
Full racing setup

Body:
~ full carbon fibre shell, constructed using HRT427's cheaper "Quickstep" method
~ Choptop, to make the car look less like a jellybean

~ Full race interior - no aircon/radio/sound deadening; carbon fibre ashtray

this car would be strictly for track use, but for an extra 50 grand i'd give it aussie emissions/safety compliance. order in the next ten minutes and i'll throw in a free set of steak knives for only $4.50 plus postage and handling.

Well, lets see. Do you have any experience with CF? What is this quickstep method? Engine improvements? 120K in what denomonation? Are the steak knives forever sharp?

Wow, this stuff's strong today. Must have a word with my dealer.

*puts down crackpipe and steps away from the internet*

Unfortunately none of your questions can be answered until after you hand over the 120K, but I do have some info on the quickstep process.

"(quickstep is) a new low-cost...composite manufacturing process (which will) revolutionise the world automobile industry..... Developed by Perth-based Quickstep Technologies Pty Ltd (with assistance from CSIRO Molecular Science), the new, proprietary Quickstep process was used to manufacture the bonnet of Holden Special Vehicles' (HSV's) new 'supercar' - the HRT 427."

show us the real thing first ;)

Haha. I guess I should have expected that.

This shiz is WHACK!

What a funny guy...

You people are all blind, this chiznit is the shiznit! if nobody wants to buy one, i'll simply build one for myself and use it to kick dori dori's butt after he begs me to let him feature it on best motoring:) allright i think i've been second hand smoking some of famine's fumes..

seriously, order now and i'll throw in a carbon fibre rear window like jgtc, with rear view video camera for reversing into macca's.

This is not only useless, but it's against the AUP as well.

wow only 120k? that's amazing, i have many lots of 120 kilobytes on my hard drive, actually, i'll just send you an mp3 (several mb) and i'll all of your limited run

why would anyone want a carbon fibre monaro anyway? for sale - one overly expensive ugly ripoff of a real classic car, looks like a commodore

sorry about that, i was not aware of this rule. if there's a way to delete posts i 'll get rid of the "monaro ute" post i just made

well i just liked the HRT427, I wouldn't have paid 200K + for it but i just like the idea of a stripped out racer! you're right though maybe the monaro isn't the best platform for such a thing, i mean even with weight reduction it'll still weigh over something like 1600kgs...

This kid's prolly going back to his buddies at school and being like "these forum guys really think i can make a carbon fibre monaro, their so dumb man!".

Here is a lesson yung'un. If this were to be real, you wouldn't get any business ANYWAYS because nobody wants to deal with unclear info, unorganized sales pitch, dodgy payment and a really unreliable, unbelievable, stupid dick-of-a sales manager. Nobody wants any of that.

You suck at scamming. Period.

He's joking dont take it serious guys.

Didnt you pick it up even when he offered the steak knifes for $4.50 .

Okay, who should I make it out to, *takes out checkbook*, "yung'un", "really unreliable, unbelievable, stupid dick-of-a sales manager", "Prince Nigel the Flatulent", or "that ******** on the forum trying to scam everyone but fools no one"?

Exactly. I've seen too many of these kids and their video games. Pfffft.

Hes messing about. Some people on this foroum need to pull dat broom out their butt and lighten up.

Except it's stupid spam that really has no place in the forum.

I realize this thread was righteously closed, but I have to say:

If you think somebody is going to hand over $120k, even in AUD, without the having those questions thoroughly and accurately answered, you must be smoking some of Famine's crack.
