Hi,

I've noticed myself and from reading on GTPlanet that many of us consider the career event way too short.
Another issue that rises from that is that the Platinum trophy is almost handed out, so easy it became to completing the game.

That said, I thought it would be a great idea to introduce another trophy, the PD-Platinum trophy.
Which you can gain in the following way.

PD-Platinum career

This is an 1000+ races (all cars) career list. You will start with one of the lowest PP cars in the game (pre-selected) and get one of the 70 track-layouts available for that car.
Slowly work your way up, this will go slowly as you will drive all in-game cars spread over all available layouts (from slow to fast based on pp).

You should be able to do a few things yourself:
  • The tracklength (min 2 laps..up to whatever you prefer)
  • Competitors PP range (-100 to +100 pp)
  • You should be able to tune the car. (No power upgrades)
You cannot advance to the next step before you actually golded the race.

//--
An lite version could be that your handed out the option to choose between 2 cars each time.
Of course you should be able to re-do the lite version and drive the other 500 cars to anyway receive the PD-Platinum trophy.

An game idea which would (IMO) not too difficult to implement.
It will give a nice task and a great leaderboard of who is actually the "best" driver all-round.

Feedback is great!

Well, that would easily prolongue life-span of the game.

For me the game (status quo) really is a "run through to Platinum". If there weren`t bugged trophies I would just have to grind 6k km more for the "Autobarmy" trophy - only 2 or 3 - let`s say: harder challenges to achieve Platinum - if at all. (-> Yeah, I hated Kart Shifter 125).

Now I have to repeat career mode because 2 trophies didn`t pop up: Careerist: Int.A and Grand Finale - which gives me some more time with the game... Hope the trophies appear and I can check them off.

Your trophy design much more gives a feeling of being a race driver who is on the way to the top. With all the limits and limitations when you start a career. From driving (racing?) a Nissan Leaf or a Daihatsu Midget on Autumn Ring Mini () to a real race car on a real race track...

I like the version where you can choose between two cars.
