I like to farm money on Like the Wind SSRX race. Using the same car (Huayra) gets pretty boring. What are other cars that can hit over 300mph?

Red Bull x2010
Red Bull x2010 S. Vettel
Red Bull x2010 Prototype
Red Bull x2011 Prototype
Red Bull x2014 Fan Car
:sly:

EDIT: But, if fast money is what you want, why not farm the X1 Standard challenge? With practice, yields 2mil every 15-20 minutes.

I've been using my free AMG Vision Gran Turismo as my SSRX mule. It hits 286 mph and is a easy win in about 4:07. Using this I don't wear out a car that I want to drive in the game. I'm not a big fan of farming the X1 Standard challenge because the of the unrealistic handling. When I go back to regular racing it takes me a while to readjust.

Try the Corvette Stingray (fully modified, just with like weight reduction, power, and tyres.). It's pretty cheap. About 60-80 credits. Once fully modified, it reaches 900+ HP and 300+ MPH, around 320 when slipstreaming (staying behind other cars). Handling could be an issue though. At Route X, my record was 3:52.

I had no idea that the stingray could do that xD I now have a new favorite car

What is the tune on yours?

For the Route X race I used the Auto Union Streamliner.... added custom gearbox and maxed the power and away I went. You can just touch 300mph on the downhill part and with a slipstream. You have to back off quite a bit on the banking to get round without swapping ends but it's quite fun actually...

Use some wildly inappropriate cars to make an attempt on winning it. Just extend the gears to silly levels and draft the guy in first until the last corner and nitrous to the line. Using this technique I've manage to win with a Honda CRX SiR!!!!

(If you want it to be easy then just use something from the 300mph club thread mentioned above)

I had an idea of making a "Bonneville Spped Week" event.
The cars are running on salt flats, so there's nearly no grip

So runing these cars on comfort softs, and with fuel and tire wear on very fast, it is a huge challenge holding the car in a straight line.

I tried it with the C7 corvette from Gran Turismo, as i hit 380kmh (235 mph) i hit the nitrous button, and i start loosing the control of the car...
I spun for over 2 km...

Well we're racing on the backstraight of the track, because this part is flat.
There will be different car classes, and we have to make 2 passes. (one in each direction).
