Cars faster than a Veyron

(Tried using search, found nothing) If there is a thread direct me to it. In a drag race are there any cars that can beat a Veyron, this excludes the X1, FGT, and obviously the F10 and 07. And I'm looking more specifically for street cars but if there are any race cars thats fine.

P.S. Veyron 's and X1's annoy me :grumpy:
 
Do the math. Veyron has over 1000HP and AWD. Compare that to the rest of the cars in the game. You'll get your answer.
 
My GT by Citroen Concept Car reaches 412+ Km/h in the Mulsanne straight in Le Mans...and it doesn't have gears :dopey:
 
I also hate the veyron and i always haze on people that are driving it but the thing is a rocket in a straight line and their is NO street car that can beat it in a drag sadly.
 
I have to say I have a dislike to such a car, especially after someone crashed into my parked 458 in one yesterday. I kicked him...

It's just one of those easy to acquire cars, due to the high amount of thick headed people online, this car should not have been a prize.
 
i beat one in my fully tuned viper acr, but i don't know if it counts that i got a bit of a bump draft and hit 260mph down the strait at le sarthe :)
 
In terms of accelration (not from a stop) the Zonda R is quicker than a Veyron. I did a few roll-ons with a friend online and the Zonda R pulls away. Aslo a TVR speed 12 will do the same up untill it hits its rev limiter in top. Veyron is king of road cars from a standing start though, and bests most race cars.
 
My TVR Tuscan RM is also really quick from 0-60 (2.7-ish seconds) using 560hp, although it's still probably slower than the Veyron.

The Veyron is considered the world's fastest production/sreet/road car in the world, so it's probably the fastest in the game too in that category.

That being said, I would imagine many of the race cars beat the Veyron in a straight line (and obviously around a track). (Since there's no drag racing in GT5?) Maybe try the Toyota GT-One for 0-240mph or Escudo for 0-180mph. Would imagine those would beat the Veyron.

I actually just got that from the ucd today and if it had the ability to go into the 1000hp I think it would....but it can't
 
Depends, if you're racing circuits then the Veyron isnt really that good considering its power, there are many cars that will outperform it. On top speed sessions its obviously a car with a big advantage over most. But the obvious is obvious.
 
A tuned SL65 with 996hp will beat a stock Veyron on the Circuit De LA Sarthe 2005 no chicanes.

However a fully tuned Veyron would be another story as it is silly fast!

If you're looking at it that way then the OP is offtopic with the forum, as there is no drag racing in GT5.

Racing cars will beat the Veyron in straight line race, i don't think there are any road cars that will do it.
 
My fully tuned Murcielago can beat my Veyron. I also raced against it a few times with my recently acquired Jaguar XJR LM Race Car '88 and I left it in the dust easily. There are at least two faster cars then the Veyron, although to be fair, my Veyron has not received any sort of enhancement.
