Cars hanging up online?

I have 2 cars that seem to be hung up online. I posted them online to share to myself in a 2nd account and for a friend. I have since "taken" them offline. When I go into the account they are garaged in they do not show up as online. I can get into them and race them without a problem. Yet when I go to my 2nd account or have my friend check it out, they are still showing up online and are borrowable (if that is a word). Thoughts on this?
 
If they are still showing up online when viewing the website, log out and then back in, that seems to fix most issues. Does it let you borrow them from the second account? Or are they just showing online? I would say try the same thing for PSN. Manually log out from the XMB and back on and see if that does anything.
