So, I have a few cars that fit the requierment for the classic race car thing (in expert i think... not to sure) but they cant be used? I've seen my friends play with the SAME CAR, they even lent it to me, and it still wont let me race them, why?...

I would bet that he is trying to use the CEMA cars.
 
If you can't get into a race, A screen will pop up with hi lighted text for why you can't race. Could be tires,weight or something else.
 
normally you can be sure of the year of the car if the name is described in this format:

name_'xx


i.e. Camaro SS '69


1970 Mustang Trans Cammer nor the Corvette'60 can't be entered. While the body shapes match the originals, the system observes the entire car as presented to PD. It's like trying to pass a Shelby Cobra replica off as the real thing. The body may be of classic time, but the engineering is contemporary.


Therefore, for the Classic Car event, Trans-Cammers and Art Morrisons are illegal. If you can borrow an XJ13 or GT40, do so. Power to weight is FTW!!
