Yeah, yeah - I've dragged GT3 out again after a long hiatus...

So - got any cars in your GT3 garage that you're convinced are trying to kill you?

I've got two, both of which are pretty wild at Deep Forest:
- Raybrig NSX - I've got this thing fully NA tuned, and it loves a bit of an oversteer through the first half of the lap there
- TVR Speed 12 on Sim Tyres - wheelspin in any gear below fifth, this thing will take any opportunity to fling itself off the road (including the crest of the road along the back straight) and if the power's applied with the wheel even slightly turned, around it goes. Best method there is to leave it in 5th and 6th.

So - anyone else got some nasty pieces of work in their garages?

The Escudo is a definite killer on any track.

But for cars that I actually like to drive it would have to be a Zonda C12S with max turbo upgrade and forgetting to brake early for a corner... And this on any track also. ( Maybe not Test Track )

A Black Z06 i dubbed "The Black Widow".black rims from yoko and it's has 450-500hp and the rear use to get loose every time. lowering it and getting some T5 tires and that fixed it quickly.

Funny you should mention the Zonda - Australian car magazine 'Wheels' had a supercar special this month, and included a short test of the C12.

Suitably inspired, I was looking through my GT3 garage and realised:
a) I'd sold all my Zonda road cars in disgust after the two Rome series, and consequently had none;
b) I'd never driven either of the the Zondas in standard form.

So I went and bought both versions, and drove the base model in one of the three lap Amateur NA races (at Deep Forest II) - in stock form that thing's a hoot to drive! I had a great time, nice slides you could correct with steering or throttle, fantastic!

seriously, i bought an audi TT so i can try to drift it cuz it would look sweet drifting, but everytime i put it into a drift, the front wants to correct itself automatically. Anyone else have this prob?

Zonda C12 tries to kill my braking distance.

Pitz tries to bore me to death.

ZZII tries to dehydrate me since I drool so much while thinking about it.

The TT kills me, the Daihatsus kill me, and the TVR Speed 12 would kill me if damage was in GT3...

My worst "accidents" have been in a 700-hp Vanquish at Laguna. Brake even a moment too late before the rise leading to the Corkscrew, and it will hurl itself off the ground and into the wall just beyond. It does the same thing at the end of Deep Forest's front straight, but there's more runout room there.

Along those lines, I've always thought that the S-6 test (S-7 in GT2) with the Viper Oreca at Laguna Seca was one of the few tests that actually forces people to become a better driver. That corkscrew is probably the biggest "separating the men from the boys" part of the game. If you go outside a little and hit it at the right speed, it's just perfectly smooth, almost pushing you out of the corkscrew along the perfect line. If you come in a little too fast or a little too far inside, well, you know :)

Most people would say S-8 is the hard test, but it really just forces people to learn throttle control.

My TVR Speed 12. I used this on the Polyphony races (all 10 of them). And I would have sworn that the car was suicidal. On every turn it was all I could do to keep the car from diving headfirst into a wall.

Sounds pretty bad...;) Did it beat your Fiat or something? :p

My worst crash would have to be ramming straight into those tires after the tunnel at Monaco...had a massive lapse of concentration. :O

You're a big w00s ya pansy, those are the two favourite cars in my garage! :p

Cars that try to kill me? Definitely the New Beetle RSi, which seems to want to send me into walls periodically if I don't coast around corners and apply power gently... :irked:

Actually I love the Arta NSX - it's great fun, but it's very angry at Deep Forest for some reason.

I was running the Speed 12 tonight on mediums at Apricot - you know, it actually has this fantastic chassis under it, once you learn to not drive it with full throttle.

Speed 12 without a doubt would kill me if I gave it the oppourtunity...
Zonda C12s would not on the other hand, have just spent a fair amount of time driving mine and have grown to like it, and the race car version too for that matter

well the Escudo sure gets the top position, but Zondas really piss me off, the brakes dont work very well, even upgraded its not very "functional", its a bullit but it wont stop, speed 12 havent tried yet, the otehr would have to b Mercs the only one that actually does anyhting is the DTM car, all teh rest r slow as hell, with full mods they still slow as hell, pitz is cool, its my "when im bored i try to drift" with car

With those methods (not applying power gently) I can hardly seeing you drive a 600bhp + car, let alone a TVR Speed 12! :p

No car in GT3 kills me. I can handle them all very well.

I did however have a real car try to kill me though. It all started when my best friend Arnie spotted this piece of rusted crap in some old guy's yard and bought it for a few hundered bucks. He then spent all his time with his new love, "Christine." Then one day it try to kill me! I went up against it in great battle with me behind the wheel of a bulldozer ...and...Oh wait, that was just a movie I saw. Never mind.:D

my personel favourites for going on suicide missions(not that i condone this sort of thing.) r the zonda race car and the speed 12. by far these cars r the most most dangerous cars in my opinion in the game....... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
