I've been trying to obtain every car in the game, and just noticed that a lot of cars I own and have moved to the stockyard, don't show up with the blue tick in the dealerships!
This has caused me to buy numerous cars that I already own, losing hard earned cash!
Has anyone else had the same problem, and is there a fix available?
Nearly at 900 cars now, so can't possibly remember everything I own and rely on that blue tick.

That is how PD designed it, I know of no reason for this either. I can understand the frustration though. Maybe the reason why it doesn't remember the cars in the stockyard is similar to the reason why there is the loading time to get in and out of the stockyard? My only suggestion is make a checklist or use kudosprime.com to help keep track of what cars you own.

Frustrating is an understatement!
Weeks of grinding for very little money, only to end up buying a load of cars I already have.
It's not as though you get much for the duplicates when you sell them either.
Totally put me off the game now, after playing almost every day since release.
How can they mess up something as simple as logging what you own?
Haven't booted the game up since noticing this - totally gutted.......

PD's epic Stockyard fail hit ya hard huh!

:ouch::crazy::banghead:

I'm guessing that stockyard cars are stored in a different list, and the ownership sensor only controls against the garage list.

A fix could be to buy all the cars of a certain dealership before you move on to the next. It's easier to remember what brands you own than all the cars you own. Another fix could be to keep a list, although that requires some more work.

If you're a dedicated collector you'd want to make a list, it's the easiest way to get an overview of what you've got. Try Excel or the open office versions.

Thanks for the advice, but sorry to say, that's me finished with this game.
I've played every GT to completion since it was first released, and never felt so disheartened.
Certainly not going to start my own list because the software can't be bothered to keep a log of what I own.
Sorry, but this is a major failing in the game, and needs to be rectified a.s.a.p.
How hard can it be??

Never understood the reason for the Stockyard. The garage should be able to hold 1,000 cars at least.

That's probably to solve loading issues. In GT5, loading a garage full of 1000+ cars online was a pain in the rear end. It's still the case with the stockyard, but you supposedly go there less often.

Never trusted the Stockyard, one of the reasons GT6 is one of the worst GT`s in my opinion. I loved collecting every car, then testing them out. Now I cant do that. But yea, I was thinking the same as you guys.

I would hope the PS4 is powerful enough to handle loading a garage full of thousands of cars, if one wanted to do so...
