I feel like some cars are way better in hotlapping than in races.
For example the Mustang. I can get very good laps in my standards but in races I fall behind. I think the reason is you have to drive it so daringly through the corners. Now in races those optimal racing lines aren't always open and if I have to adjust I fall back more than I would in a different car. Cars with quicker response don't take so much punishment if you deviate from the optimal racing line.
What other cars you think are like this?
