This has been covered in other threads but which cars are effected by this.
If you still have GT5 are there stock suspension settings the same or is it some other factor.

Most Lancers from 1996 on seem to suffer from this.
Currently driving VI RS T.M. Edition
I cant quite replicate AI nose stand but getting the rear to leave the ground is fairly easy.
Also seems very susceptible to kerbs despite soft suspension. Rolled it a few times but also managed quite a few Hollywood Stuntman drives on two wheels then bring it back down again.
Not sure here but the balance point seems a bit off to me the car is not as vertical as I would expect making me wonder if the weight distribution is a bit high.

Needs a better driver than me to feel whats wrong

I am on 1.06 and started a new game not that long ago. In one of the first races, the AI was in a Del Sol, and it was popping up on the front wheels when it was braking. Just one item in a long list of disappointments.

I have NEVER seen that glitch were the when the AI break there back end comes up. Had this game since release, have yet to see it. Wounder why my AI doesn't do it. O.o

Try Japanese Championship Tokyo R246 & follow a Lancer

Now I am watching for it quite a few cars seem to pitch excessively, no nose stand but it seems a bit over the top.
Possibly weight transferal is a bit overdone in the game or the AI absolutely jumps on the brakes.

I have had one at Côte d'Azure at the top of the hill on first straight.

It was a Fiat 500 if memory serves me right. I moved all weight to front and it actually rolled over nose first. It was in 1.04 or about there but I think you can still do it.

The Abarth 500 will do a front flip in a break zone over a crest. Even after tuning it, it will still flip. It will front flip at three places on Matterhorn Rotenboden. Its a great underdog car and has no problem winning the 24 minutes at Nurburgring with only 491PP.

My Alfa Romeo MiTo suffers from this problem, especially on Bathurst.

Just raced festival italia on Cote D'Azur and all the AI cars do nose stands when braking at the top of the hill at the start of the track.

most of the cars i tried on the 24h nurburgring do that
i only starting to notice it with the bmw m3 csl on the first crest
then i did some tests with cars i never had that feeling
(it was just because there was too much speed to notice it
as the car jumped a few meters after starting to brake on the last few meters before the top of the crest)
to reproduce that, i just had to start braking a few meters before the top of the crest with any car at a speed which don't make the car flying over it
maybe the suspension is too loose on the front of my cars
but if you strenghten the front to try to avoid that suspicious real physics effect then the front is too stiff for the curbs
i sometimes feel that it starts to look and feel like a drive drunk simulator
too much sake at PD ?

Gravity strength is much too low. It explains the weight transfer problem, such as why raising ride height reduces understeer.

You just gave me a "Eureka" moment, Sander! Could it just be that tinkering with the moon mission messed PD's physics formula up enough to cause the sudden stoppies and rollovers?
