Cars that will not stay gone once deleted?

Having another weird issue with this weird game: After deleting certain cars from my garage they keep reappearing! That is...upon rebooting the game, they're back!

Seems mostly (but not exclusively) to happen with cars that can't be sold.

Lots of easy jokes come to mind, but seriously, anyone have this problem and know how to ditch these bitches for good?

Problem cars, I have tried selling/deleting from both the thumbnail view and full screen view.

Are you saving after the delete? Most people have disappearing cars, not cars that don't want to leave. If they're under 1,000,000cr just keep them till PSN is back up, someone will want them. You say that it's not exclusively to cars that can't be sold. If you sell the car then reboot do you keep the money from the sale?
