Cars with CVT Transmission

I'm looking to do a write up with the CVT equipped cars in the game. I know that the Prius and Fit use a CVT, does anything else?

I plan on comparing performance between the CVT equipped car then with a custom transmission to see if the CVT is any better or not, plus a few other tests.
 
I'll look around. If I see any tonihgt, i'll post in the morning.
 
I know the V35 Skyline 350GT-8 has a CVT with 8 pre-set gear ratios, though that's probably not the type of CVT you're looking for...

I can't think of any others.
 
The only other one I can think of is the Toyota Motor Triathlon Race Car. :)
 
Is CVT one gear that just has a letter D or number 1?

If so, the Mitubushi Colt (The one avalible in pink) has a CVT and the Honda Jazz

The Triathalon car doesn't really have any gears or transmission. It is an electric moter with forward and reverse. That's why you can go top speed in the car in either direction.
 
The newest Nissan Cube is also a CVT, it's right in the name, isn't it?

Yeah, it says "(FF/CVT)" in its name, but it doesn't actually have a CVT in the game.

The Colt, Prius, and Fit all have CVTs, I'll be testing them and getting a writeup put together as soon as I can.

C.V.T: (Continuously Variable Transmission)

"A system that makes it possible to vary progressively the transmission ratio. So it allows selection of a infinite number of ratios, (between a minimum and a maximum value)."
 
I read it to be a Fantastic Gas saving feature for small cars.

The Skyline CVT is set in sport mode.

Thanks for the insight. Too bad none of us were bragging about CVTs. However, they may be better for drag racing. We'll see whenever I get the write up finished.

I'm pretty sure they had a CVT in an F1 car, but quickly banned it because it was an advantage.
 
Fit comes with a CVT gearbox in every other market - except Canada and USA. I don't have the slightest idea on why Honda did that, maybe to lower the price. CVT is far more superior than conventional automatic.
