I couldn't find a definitive list, so thought maybe one could be started.

It would be good to list all of the cars in GT6 that have sequential (stick) shifter (not paddles). I'm guessing the majority would be WRC cars, but it would be nice to use the appropriate shifting mechanism. If you can confirm the cars I can update the list in this post accordingly. Thanks for your help!

  • Pagani Huayra '11 (both sequential and paddles)
  • Pagani Huayra '13 (both sequential and paddles)
  • Toyota Supra Castrol GT '97
  • Subaru BRZ GT300
  • SRT Challenger SRT8
  • BMW M5 '08
  • BMW M4 (both seq and paddles)

BRZ GT300, I think Mazda 787B has it if I remember correctly from GT5

I don't think the Huayras would count. Then you would have to add every car with Auto/Sequential/Dual Clutch transmissions, since almost all of times they have the +/- selector on the gear knob despite having paddles.

SRT Challenger SRT8 is one that definitely doesn't have paddles, and the shifting animations is done in the +/- gear stick selector.

I updated the Huyaras indicating they have both paddle and sequential. As long as the car has some sort of sequential it should be included, so this probably opens the list up tremendously. My A4 has optional sequential shifting, so I'm guessing the older Audi sedans in GT6 have them too.

BMW has their Drivelogic since at least the last decade. BMW M5 '08 in its GT6 attire has both sequential and paddles.

A4, TT, CLK and Astra DTM.

Also the M4 has both paddles and sq. This option is available for the Z series but these cars have manual in GT6.

The huayra doesn't have true sequential via the stick. It's not a mechanical shift lever as far as I know. Pretty sure it works like the paddles with a shift selection via two sensors being triggered.

A lot of the group B and C cars used mechanical sequential via the lever.
