cars you cant sell!!!!

recently I won a s2000. Now I dont keep all cars that I win, in fact I'd say that I sell most of them!
For some reason I cant sell this s2000 that I won. It has no price next to it when I veiw it in my garage either....

Whats with that?

are there others?
 
that's a small bug in the game. i think it is the only car you can't sell...


i've never experienced this with the said S2000, i wonder why. :confused:
 
I won the Orange S2000 from the Amateur Type-R meeting and when in arcade mode it doesn't show up in the small picture. I wonder why?

Where did you get that S2000, what colour is it etc.

Give us the details.

Yeah Keeno_UK had the orrible green S2000 that you cant sell as well. It was orrible to say the least. Thats why on the type R cup I always used the save reload trick so I dont get lumbered with it.
Also if you go to arcade mode and try to select it, the car has no little pic, its just a blank space. Mind you there is also an Elise that you win which has no carname above it.
 
Which S2000? The Type V, the Mugen, or the regular one?

i believe it's a Mugen. someone correct me if i'm wrong - i never got it - i too saved / reloaded to avoid it.
 
No, when you finish Amateur Type-R Race you can win a regular S2000 which is either Orange or lime green. I won the orange won, but I havent tried to sell it. I have it fully NA modded, but I did notice that it doesnt have a picture in Arcade mode.

Ahhhhhhhh another person needs to be enlightened about that.
Have you done any races that are in a series yet? (you know you get points n stuff) well this way you can choose to win a specific car instead of going ahead with the random crap.

Win all the races (or just get loads of points so your first) and when you get to the screen before the last race save the game. Now enter the last race and quit the race (not the championship) see what car you win. If its not one you like just quit out to the main menu and Load the game up again and repeat untill you win the car you want.

HARD!

I also noticed this car (The Honda S2000, straight ((it has no title in the car-view-screen)) and not the Honda S2000 Type v.) and the Viper GTS Team Or...”don't know the spelling” (The red/white and yellow Race car) has the same problem. It is also the only two cars that cannot be sold, in GT 3's (PAL version). Plus they are the only two cars that can't be Bayed/Traded from the memory card.

Oh Yes, they or on display at the dealers. But they must be won and can't be bought. But the first and only "onetime" the Viper Team Ore.... "race car" is awarded is when you get 50% of the game completed. Then I also noticed that In Arcade mode the S2000 do not appear in that "little picture" in the home garage.

:thatsodd: I don’t know what’s to blame for the S2000, but this “glitch” does make the Viper Seem really Importuned. :D ;)

Its not also the fastest.

Well, luckily my Orange Un-sellable S2000 is one of my favourite cars. It has a 10,500rpm revving 2.0 4 cyl with a mind blowing 450hp. It is so well balanced and I love that car to death.

The S2000 has the best chassis in GT3, atleast for FR cars.

I cant wait until the 5 cyl S2000 comes out in 2004-5
