Ok. Just right now, I was gambling at Caligula's, and then suddenly after I stop playing after i won $1000, these guys start shooting at me. I thought this only happens after you borrow money from the casino, and you dont pay them back. I never borrowed any money.I want though but where do I do that? My real question is why are these guys shooting me, and also how do I borrow money. My gambling level is high enough to play $1,000 games.
Edit: I went back to the casino right after I made the thread, and nobody is shooting me anymore.
 
Did you by any chance punch someone, aim at someone, possibly get out a gun or shoot someone? I'm pretty sure all of these will get the Security Guards after you.
 
Yeah, if you do anything to hurt or threaten people in the Casino the security guards will shoot at you.

Also, to borrow money you just bet more money than you have. i.e. if you have $700 you could still bet $1,000 at a $1,000 table, but if you lost you'd be $300 in debt.

Yeah, that would still be a threat...anything that would get you a wanted level will get these guys shooting at you ;).

Ya I figured out the security guard thing before I went back to this thread becuase I remembered I punched a guy and killed him so I can use a $1 slot machine. I wish the loan thing was different, like you go tot he bank&exchange at Caligula's and then you can get money even if you have millions. Somebody talked about winning like 2mil at the horse racing, how do I do that. I bet on somehing with 2/1 chance, and lose, some with 12/1 and still lose(thats how he said he won the money. thats a longshot), no matter how high the chance is of winning or losing, I still lose. Is it just full-on luck? Mine is at 180, is that good?
 
I maxed my money at ITB in montgomery by doing this trick--

Go and save at catalinas shack near montgomery--- drive to ITB and bet on either the 11:1 or 12:1 horse (whichever comes up--I normally kept exiting and entering to get the 12:1)--- bet everything you have (you can bet up to $9,999,995)-- if you lose, reload, if you win, go back to catalinas and save-- repeat-- you will win about every 8 times you bet on average---I've gone up to 15-20 losses in a row before winning so you need to be patient.

This is very boring and tedious, but you can max your money in a few hours doing this.

Save at Catalinas, then drive down to Mongomery, bet everything you have on the 21:1 longshot, if you win, go back and save, if not, load up and try again, keep doing that untill you have all the money you want.

Driftnewb110 - You receive 20 luck for every horseshoe that you collect. There are 50 horseshoes in LV, so the maximum luck is 1000. You must have collected 9 horseshoes. Find more to be more "lucky." I have 1000 luck, but I still lose at gambling quite often.
 
I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or not, but whenever I get a horseshoe, I'm luckier for a short amount of time, but after and day or so (game time) I seem to lose like I normally would. But I think this might just be a coincidence.

The same thing happens to me, but not just when I get a horeshoe, also the oysters(where they oysters or clams?)
 
Oysters ;)...Hmm, maybe that's it then, pick one up and you'll get a short burst of luck...interesting.

The horseshoes didn't appear to do anything to my luck... I ran a load of random 50/50 tests on the roulette table and lost more often than not... and if I'd been lucky surely I would be winning more of those than not?!

On another note I killed someone in the casino then gambled for ages... then the security dudes starting shooting at me... so I stood at the front door and maimed them for ages til I had loads of stars ran out the front door (Which was surrounded by poised cops!) and very almost died trying to bag the save point!!
