Castle Coombe is under threat from a bunch of locals complaining about the noise. There's an online petition to champion the circuit's cause here...

Castle Combe has always been poor for noise regulations, we raced there a few years back and spent hours between practice and the race trying to pack the exhaust box with whatever we could get our hands on to get the car re-scrutineered - it all got fired out the back during the race anyway!

its a shame since castle combe is a really nice little quick circuit.

If the locals don't like the noise then they shouldn't have moved next door to a racing circuit in the first place - what did they bloody expect?
