catch up logic still active?

Does anyone know if we still suffer with catch up logic post specII?

I am not really feeling the loss of grip so much anymore when I am in the lead. But I cant tell for sure if its gone because I am driving better now and I am also using different cars, most with much more downforce.

Anyone been watching their lap times?

The catchup logic is present in the beginner races, but in the advanced races it is not. I have won races by a clean 8 or 10 seconds on many an occasion.

I havent noticed any catup at all, apart from the huge slipstream advatages.

I've won by large amounts on all races.

One thing I have noticed is when a faster car gets to withnin a second of me, then I seem to loose grip.

another thing that annoys me is the sector timings, because of all this bumper bashing etc you find that the leader is miles ahead. i would rather know if no.3 is gaining or losing to no.2 then to know how much distance there is between no.2 and no.1. maybe it should state both like they do in F1 with a small grid that appears at the bottom of the screen, it could appear in the top right of the screen for example

no.1 - -1.25
no.2 - 0.00
no.3 - +0.78
