RULES<
1)Cars will start out stock! That means zero mods.
The base car for the tournament is a stock Caterham 7 Fireblade with an oil change. As the tournament progresses, new upgrades will be added in a "running list" style section at the top of every weeks topic. Any non-official upgrades are not permitted. You are, however, allowed to change the wheels on your's if you want to.
Note:We're not turbocharging because well...the hp isn't enough for my tastes. Heh...also no racing chip because that brings down the hp as well. NO NITROUS!
2)All times will be sent to:dumkopf604@gmail.com. Put Caterham 7 Cup is the subject. Also throw your username in the email somewhere
Note:All sector times need to be included (does that need an example?)
Note 2:All times are due a week after that week's topic was started. For example, say a certain week's topic was started 2/13/06 at 4:30PM PST. That means that weeks time would be due before 4:30PM PST the follwoing Monday. PST is Pacific Standard Time. -8GMT. I'll keep the times at which the new thread is posted consistent...
3)Customize suspension and transmission to your tastes. (when applicable)
4)The point system is as follows. If need be it'll be stretched out moreso.
1st: 9 points
2nd:8 points
3rd: 7 points
4th: 5 points
5th: 4 points
6th: 3 points
7th: 2 points
8th: 1 point
and so on
5)No wall riding, lawn mowing, and basically...anything that you would fail a license test for.
As a sidenote, when we get to the forced induction section...the cup will be split into two divisions. One for turbochargers and one for superchargers*
The point system may be revised as well.
*This is if there are enough competitiors in each division to warrant it.
If at least 10 people want it...then i'll get the track and mods for this week up...In regards to Note2.Rule 2...this weeks time will be due when the reference post is posted. Hopefully more than 10 people will want in on this.
