CCR's Mini-Endurance P1 and GT RaceOpen

Hi everyone. My Casual Racing forum (CCR) is hosting a race for multi-class racing which involves P1 and GT3 cars. The cars will share the track at the same time and as the CCR Member list is quite short we would love it if some of you could join in too.

We ask for only people who are committed to turning up and to be as clean as possible during the race. We know bumps happen but we would like to avoid major accidents. The race itself will be around one hour in length. We will require you to book a car for this as to ensure we get a varied grid.

Here are the details for if you might be interested. We are also recruiting for members so if you might be looking for a casual racing group who don't take it too seriously then come along and try us out.
The Event Details
The Cars

The race will be Multi-Class races with P1 and GT3 cars sharing the track at once. This event will require you to book a car and class for the series. A minimum of 10 players is required for this event.
Blue Flags only apply to GT3 cars when being overtaken by a P1 car. The said GT3 car must let them past when it is safe to do so. P1 cars must be patient of the GT3 cars as they are racing too. Blue Flags only in place when the P1 car is lapping the GT3 class.
All cars are 'Premium' and if flashing lights is needed then you are allowed to do so. This must be used to gain the attention of a lapped car and NOT to gain an advantage on other drivers in your class.

Other Regulations

As real life P1 cars use a form of traction control on their systems you will be required to use SRF in the P1 class. It is not an unfair advantage if everyone is using it and it makes the cars handle how they probably should do.
GT3 has no further regulations. SRF will NOT be allowed for this class, mainly because you don’t need it.

Race Start will be a rolling start. We will do a 1 lap formation lap, double file around the track at around 60mph or 100kph. If the first place car wants to drive a little faster around the track then that is fine but must slow to 60mph/100kph on the last turn as to allow for the race start. The First placed car is NOT allowed to accelerate to start the race until their lap counter changes to LAP 2.

Lobby Opening: 20:30 (UK time) - 19:30 GMT
Qualifying Session: 21:15 (UK time) - 20:15 GMT
Race Start: 21:30 (UK Time) - 20:30 GMT

Indianapolis Motor Speedway: Road Course
Laps: 47

There will be a lap count of 48 for this race as we will be doing a rolling start. The rolling start will be fastest first regardless of class. If a GT3 Car qualifies faster than a P1 Car then they will start ahead of the said P1 Car. When on the formation lap the usual speed limit will not be enforced until the final corner but please do not exceed 125mph or 200kph during this lap The speed will be dictated by the lead car. The final corner will force a restriction of 60mph or 100kmh through to the start line. The lead car is not allowed to accelerate to start the race until the lap counter changes to lap 2. (The normal CCR Rolling Start rules)


Teams are not a must and if you wish to use a variation of a car, i.e you want to use a base model GT-R instead of the Shulze then that is fine. The list below is just to show allowed cars in each class.

Booking a car is simple. All you have to do is tell me what you would like to have in this thread and I shall enter your name/PSN into this post next to the corresponding car. Each car is first come first serve. As you can see 4 names are already entered.

Please note that if we do not get 10 people booked into this race then it will not take place.
