CDA Audio Editing...

Hey,

I once read that CDA audio files, such as you would find on a regular kind of audio CD, are made up of seperate tracks, such as one for lyrics, guitar, whatever. I need a program where I can switch off and on these tracks, and, like, listen to one or two tracks on their own. If you know what I mean. :P

Can anyone direct me to any programs that can do this? Thanks.

Not possible - CD tracks are single channel wav files (16bit, 44.1Khz) - so there's no way of splitting them..

You're probably thinking of a MIDI file, which (I think) has threads for each channel associated with an electronic instrument.

The CDA files are just digital samples of the sound, 16-bits 44000 imes a second.
