Celebrating the 15 Years of Gran Turismo

So today, the franchise we all play and love turns 15. And I've been lucky enough to be here for the whole ride!

In order to celebrate it lets share our best experiences we've had over the years! :)

For me, one of the most memorable stuff I've ever done in GT was getting that Audi R8 LMP for the first time in GT4. I just loved that car so much. Won me many many races. The reason why I think I loved that car so much I think it was because back in GT4 it wasn't easy acquiring 4,000,000 cR! There was a lot of grinding but it was worth it in the end!

There was also a championship in GT3 where the championship was very close and there was this AI that if he won second place he would win the championship even if I got first. This was the last race. I remember getting in front of him and just smacking the brakes and making him stop while the other racers just took the lead. I then made him spin out and I started drafting quickly the other AI's into first place. xD The AI I sabotaged only got up to 4th and I won the championship! Good times. :dopey:

Also the first time I saw the intro for GT3 left me impressed with the visuals of that intro! And of course GT4 just made it 10 times better! (GT3 was a release title if I recall correctly) there is some other stuff like the rally courses of GT2 which I still like to play every now and then and almost passing GT1 100% xD

So yeah, what about you? What's the most memorable thing in GT that you've done or has happened to you while playing the game?
 
Finding out that I could listen to Judas Priest (Freewheeling Burning) and Van Halen (Panama) songs while playing Gt4. The best feature any video game had offered me up to that point.

IMO the intro music for GT4 was the best! <3 I remember show it to my uncle and he was just rocking out with me. He has shown me a lot about rock over the years and I was little back then. :P So yeah. Better than the new one with My Chemical Romance, it isn't bad or anything but I much prefer classic rock. :3

That was the Kasabian one right? I loved that!
But, as is surely obvious from my signature, Feeder's Just A Day is my favourite, that was the first time I'd heard the band. I was like, five? But Kasabian's Reason Is Treason (Jacknife Lee Remix) is possibly second.
